as night falls upon the quaint village, Astarion languidly stumbles towards the lights...a pub... with his extremely elevated senses he can smell the freshly baked garlic bread, the pork and bean stew, he can hear the lager being poured. he is hungry. he enters the pub. sits down in a corner. lights a cigarette. and orders two garlic breads. and a big pint of lager. tomorrow morning he can pretend to work it off in the sunshine. "who am i kidding. i don't need to worry. i am the Vampire Ascendant and i am my own master now", he thinks as he takes a sip of his beer and stares at the cigarette burning away between his long, slender fingers.
